Changed
  • While a sign-in code is being requested, the notification says when it is retrying. If the first request goes unanswered, the "getting a sign-in code" notification now reads "no answer yet, retrying (2 of 3)" and then "(3 of 3)" instead of showing the same title until the sign-in fails.
Changed
  • A setting that is declared but not in effect in your project is reported as such, with no fix offered. A project file's bypassPermissions line, an allow rule that a deny or ask rule in another Claude settings file overrides, and a Codex project config in a project you have not trusted now read "Not in effect here" with the reason, instead of a finding with a fix.
Fixed
  • A panel the editor restored is no longer recorded as something you opened. The optional usage report counted a side panel that VS Code brought back on start-up as an action of yours. It no longer does.
  • The dependency check no longer reports a complete result over a Python manifest it could not read. When a pyproject.toml declares dynamic dependencies and the rest of the plan is unchanged from minutes ago, the card now says the check was incomplete instead of repeating the earlier verdict.
